Meet The Librarian:
 

My name is Andrea Wilson and I am so excited to be the librarian at SMMS. This is my 14th year as an educator. 

Mission & Vision

The SMMS Library seeks to promote the development of independent reading habits and information literacy skills. Our students will become critical readers who acquire, evaluate, and ethically use information to solve problems and investigate topics of interest. To facilitate this mission, we will provide available, flexible, and inviting learning spaces and access to updated digital and print resources that represent diverse perspectives. Our School Librarian will collaborate with teachers and administrators to design learning experiences that support district goals and curriculum objectives.

The SMMS Library seeks to promote a culture of literacy and learning to enhance achievement and foster independent readers, self-directed learners, and responsible digital citizens.
